I visited Kandamyoujin,prayed and got a charm. Kandamyoujin is
the center shrine of Edo(=Tokyo).Three gods are here enshrined.
One of the three is Taira-no-Masakado, the king of Kanto region
Masakado’s mission as the god is to guard Edo against the disaster.
Why don’t you visit and ask Masakado to guard us?

Viewing LAKE CHUZENJI in one winter morning
It has been passed about two months since Caroline Kennedy is inaugurated

The Winter Olympics has started at Sochi. Watching the games is pleasure
for me since I am an enthusiast for some winter sports. The place I started
the figure skating is at the foot of Mt.Fuji. When I was three years old, my mother
took me there. Then, I felt as if Mt.Fuji stands very close. The place I used to ski is
at Hakuba,Nagano. In 1998, Some Winter Olympic Games were held at Hakuba.

It is my great pleasure to tell you a duty of loyalty.
In the year of 1582, Dec at AKIBA, the nine warriors whose master Takeda Shingen lost
swore their loyalty to Tokugawa Shogun. This is called the vow at AKIBA.
Soon, the nine warriors numbered ten and the ten warriors had each 100 Samurais.
They were named Hachiouji Sennin Doushin. In 1652, Tokugawa Shogun gave them
the duty of loyalty that guards Nikko. They started the duty in June.
The fire broke out quite often. And, the tragedy occurred twice.
The one in 1684 was my ancestor's turn. The colleagues died many.
Therefore, I can say Sep11 is my destiny. Around the end of 19th Century,
the new power against Shogun was rising and taking over almost all Japan.
They advanced the troops to Nikko. The last responsible for guard Ishizaka Yoshimasa
surrendered Nikko without battle. If fought, Nikko would’ve broken down.
However, the people take side with Shogun blamed the Yosimasa’s action.
One day, Blood flowed from Ishizaka’s palace. Yoshimasa committed Hara-kiri and died.
The new power established the Meiji Administration. And, Tokugawa Shogunate closed.
Nikko is marvelous and magnificent like the beginning of Tokugawa Shogunate.
Hachiouji SenninDoushin completed the duty of loyalty.

There’s no captive in Bushido. For Samurai, to be taken captive is extreme disgrace.
The reason is that the enemy is sure to humiliate the captive. Moreover, showing
the back to the enemy is also disgrace. Before the capture, we Samurai kill ourselves.

Yesterday, Tokyo Station celebrated the 100th anniversary.
Many people were visiting. I used to use the station everyday
for a period of time since the company I worked for was close.
