  アメリカ繁栄の象徴が崩壊した日

Sep 11, 2001, I was just close to WTC7

       ほとんどの写真が暗いけれど、すべて昼間に撮影したものです。

My Croatian American friend P took these photos around Fulton st. station.

Call 911

Emergency Call 911 が、最も鳴り響いた日。それが、この2001年9月11日。

 「 空から人が降ってきた 」と、これらの写真を撮影した友達のＰは言った。

 チャンネル２しか映らないテレビは、機体が、ＷＴＣに突撃する場面を再三にわたり放映し、

連結して崩れ落ちる他のＷＴＣや人が飛び降りるところ、

そして

 Webでは、助けを呼ぶ人々の姿を映し出していた。

この日を境に、ニューヨークは様変わりしました。

The morning on Sep. 11, 2001, I was just going to the office as usual, though,

the surrounding situation was not usual. I returned to my apartment in East Village

and got a phone call from P. By the phone, I understood what happened.

“You are very close to WTC7” P was worried about me. And, I was worried about P.

P told me to go to take pictures and hung up. I went out and was bounding for Downtown.

The Siren from nowhere was sounding.
