I can’t recall when it was opened.
In the neighborhood, there’s a supermarket which supplies pure water free of charge.
Put a membership card into the slot, a window is open, set a container and the water is poured.
Every day, my father delivered the pure water to me.The water delivery was a daily work for him.
“ Dad, you are the great age. Don’t work hard. I’m OK. I have a water purifier”
However, he delivered even on rainy, windy, chilly, hot, snow and storm day.
My father walks with a container into a bag is small and walk with short was lovely.
By the way, it started on this summer.
My father brings the water on evening started sitting on the sofa and watching TV
drinking the cold beverage for about one hour every day.
Although I felt troublesome to him, I didn’t put into the words about it
by the reason of his great age.Autumn started. This situation continued.
October 15, my father brought me the pure water as usual.
I was washing my cloth. “ Your washing isn’t hard work?” “ I’m OK. I can also wash yours, Dad”
He watched TV and left. Full Moon was bright.
My father and mother were talking about a new sphygmomanometer to try together.
The next day, my mother found my father who is sleeping on a chair spreading a paper
on the desk as usual.“ Are you still sleeping? “ He never replied.
On the desk, the new sphygmomanometer had been set so that my mother can try it at once.
My mother cried out.
When I arrived, some neighbors were there and told me “ Your father was dead.
The police had carried the body ″ What are you talking about? He is fine!
My mother was crying holding the new sphygmomanometer.
At the police, we were told that the cause of his death was a myocardial infarction.
The estimated time of his death is October 15, 10PM.
And, a policeman delivered his belongings. In it, there was the card for the water delivery.
He always carried the card! Tears welled in my eyes “ My dad! ”
My father was always putting someone else before himself and willing to help the others.
He had known the death? His personal belongings in the home were neat.
My father left this world without regret. His calm face was telling it.
Nobody was troubled.
He fulfilled his duty until the last.
“Dad? ” Today, I saw my father walking with the fulfilled container.
He is living. He delivers the pure water tomorrow again
since my father is an honorable samurai firefighter.
Dad, My hero.
